RD03 - Murder At The Bake Off

Everybody loves the Queen of Baking, Cherry Bakewell, don’t they? Apparently not... because Cherry is found dead with a poisoned cupcake in her hand just before the Grand Bake Off competition is about to kick off.
Wannabe baker and amateur sleuth Lizzie is horrified to hear of her baking heroine’s death but things quickly turn from bad to worse when she discovers Jack, the local private investigator and the man she’s dating, is being treated as a suspect in the case by the local police!
As if her life wasn’t crazy enough before, juggling two jobs and attempting to build a business baking cakes when every recipe she’s tried has turned into a complete and utter baking disaster, now Lizzie, determined to clear Jack’s name, has to add tracking down a murderer to her To-Do list, as well.
Can she hunt down the real murderer before they strike again? Will she become the next victim? Can Lizzie ever manage to bake a cake that's actually edible?
